Born and raised in Macau (China) while received my higher education in the UK and Japan, I was exposed to a myriad of cultures and languages – Chinese, English and Japanese. I have worked as an English<>Chinese journalistic and literary translator for O Clarim Weekly since 2018. My passion for languages and desire to perfect my translation skills led me to reading MSc Translation and Interpreting (2021-2023) at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

My background in Psychology and Education, backed by my MA Psychology (2013-2017) and MSc Education (2017-2019) with the University of Edinburgh, has helped me tremendously in translating social science and public affair materials.
